soybeans (soybean dashi), gently flavored yet satisfying dried shiitake\u2014shiitake grown on logs and slowly dried at low temperature using a traditional method\u2014and Hokkaido kombu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It draws a basic dashi that goes with any dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*The shape and size of the shiitake and kombu vary by season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*The shiitake is deliberately broken up to bring out the umami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drawing the dashi is easy!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just add 650 cc of boiling water to one dashi pack and let it sit for 5\u20136 hours!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It's packed with umami, so with just a little seasoning your osumashi is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(As a characteristic of soybeans, it becomes slightly cloudy when heated.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After enjoying a dashi where you can feel the gentle flavor of the soybeans, the bag opens easily by hand, so you can deliciously enjoy the dashi residue as an
